STEP1:

Login as a root (or switch to privilege user)

 

 

STEP2:

Download script file to install vlc player, from the command given below:

wget   http://www.wtuto.com/RPMs/vlc-rc5.x.sh

 

 

STEP3:

Run the script from the command given below:
sh  vlc-rc5.x.sh

 

 

STEP4:

Login as a Normal User (in Graphical Mode)

 

 

STEP5:

Press Alt + Ctrl + F2

 

 

STEP6:

Type vlc and press Enter

 

 

Note:  Entire Process may take 10 to 20 minutes depending on the number of packages to install and your internet speed.
